"Satellite Navigation in CEI Area"

You are cordially invited to the 2nd International Workshop on "Satellite Navigation
in CEI Area" organised by CEI
Working Group on "Satellite Navigation Systems" to be held in Olsztyn,
Poland in July 2000. The workshop will be hosted by The
Chair of Satellite Geodesy and Navigation, Warmia and Mazury University in
Olsztyn, in cooperation with the Commission of Satellite Geodesy of
Committee of Space Research Polish Academy of Sciences and Polish Navigation
Forum. Olsztyn is a historic town situated in one of the most beautiful regions
in Poland. Main feature is the Copernicus Castle from XIV century where
Nicholaus Copernicus performed his work.
We hope that the representatives of all CEI countries
will present papers reflecting the most essential and fascinating projects
running in their countries.

kindly invited to attend this Workshop.

These are the general topics for the sessions and they will be adjusted as abstracts are submitted. Please feel free to submit other topics also. We will also have poster sessions to try to accommodate as many topics and authors as possible.
Publication
of the proceedings is planned after the meeting. The papers will be published in REPORTS ON GEODESY,
Warsaw University of Technology, http://www.gik.pw.edu.pl,
special issue for this Workshop.

Olsztyn is located about 200 km north from the international airport in Warsaw. There is a convenient train and bus connection (about 3 hours) from Warsaw to Olsztyn.

The working language of the Workshop (printed
materials, presentation and discussions) will be English.
All participants attending the 2nd International Workshop on „Satellite
Navigation in CEI Area” must be registered. The

by 31 May 2000 deadline. The registration fee is 675 PLN (150 USD) (for

Abstract
should be written in English in MS Word 6.0 or later. All text submitted must be
error free and camera ready form.
Abstract
(approx. half page of A4) must be kindly submitted by e-mail or fax to the
Organising Committee no later than May
31, 2000.
A
lecture room will be equipped with overhead projector. Request for additional
equipment should be indicated as a part of the submittal information of the
abstract. Presentations will be normally 15 minutes long plus 5 minutes of
discussion.
The
posters will be presented and summarised during the appropriate sessions.

GUIDELINES
FOR PREPARATION OF THE CAMERA READY MANUSCRIPTS
FOR REPORTS
ON GEODESY
The Author(s) are kindly requested to observe the
following rules when preparing the camera ready manuscripts of papers intended
to be published in REPORTS ON GEODESY:
1.
Use
editor Word Perfect or Word for Windows.
2. Use font New Roman BOLD or Roman WP BOLD for the whole text.
3.
For
the title and subtitles use the font size of 12 points, for the text that of 11
points.
4.
The
titles should be written in capital letters and centered, the subtitles initial
caps left, numbering of subsections by decimal system, e.g. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc.
5.
The
title should be followed by name(s) of the Author(s) and his/their affiliation (all
centered).
6.
The
figures and subscriptions should be numbered below the figures and centered,
e.g. >"Fig. 3. T e x t"< (centered).
8.
The
tables and the attached text should be numbered on the top of the table and
centered, e.g. >"Table 2. T e x t< (centered).
9. Margins left, right, top, bottom: 2.54 cm; for the first page containing title top margin 5 cm.
10.
Between
sections of the text add one empty line.
11.
Bibliography
(references): font size 11 points, ordered alphabetically; the following
sequence should be observed: family name of the author, first name (or only
initial of the first name), year of publication, title of publication, name of
the publication series/edition plus number of issue and/or name of the
conference/symposium where the paper was presented. If more than one
contribution of the same author in the year use year and add a, b, c ... (e.g.
1996a, 1996b etc.). For titles of contributions in other languages is also the
English translation to be added in brackets.
12.
Quotation
in the text by giving author name and year, e.g. (Mayer et al., 1994c)
13.
