WG Satellite Navigation Systems of the CEI WG Science and Technology,
Section C, Geodesy
FIRST CIRCULAR
Dear Colleagues, Prof. Janusz Sledzinski, Prof. Stanislaw Oszczak and I, invite you at the 2002 Meeting of the Working Group on Satellite Navigation System of the CEI WG Science and Technology, Section C, Geodesy, www.strony.wp.pl/wp/cei1 or www.geodezja.pl/cei, at the University of Trieste, 9-10 September 2002.
We ask for presentations on REAL TIME GNSS (EGNOS and GALILEO Status included) and/or integrated with INS Techniques for Navigation and Geodetic Applications; Internet, GSM, GLOBALSTAR, DARC and any other data transmission method for GNSS are included.
Looking for presentation of last minute results, the dead line for Title and Authors will be just one week before the meeting, the 2nd of September; of course you have to reserve in advance the Hotel (the beginning of September is crowded in Trieste), on which you will receive a form very soon.
I am confident that prof. Janusz Seldzinski will be available for a prompt publication of the proceedings on Reports on Geodesy.
The agenda of the meeting includes also discussion on projected Project Proposal for FP6 on development and extension of EGNOS/GALILEO GNSS for Central and East European Countries (CEEC). The contribution of WG members as potential partners in this project is expected.
Moreover, Prof. Kazimierz Czarnecki, chairman of the WG "Education in Geodesy", will contemporarily organize in this meeting, a session on Education on SAT NAV chaired by himself and by prof. Florjan Vodopivec.
Many thanks for the attention and best regards.
